Opportunistic Investing

GATES HUDSON seeks to acquire real estate assets on a continual basis that will benefit most from our "hands-on" approach to renovation and management. We look for Class A and B properties that need particular focus on marketing, leasing, and cost containment. We also acquire Class C and D properties that need complete renovation and repositioning in the market. In every case, Gates Hudson looks for investment opportunities with good fundamentals that can be improved by our core competencies.

Owner Controlled Management

At GATES HUDSON we believe that effective property management is best performed by a manager who handles their property as if it were their own business. Therefore, as an "owner-manager" our team takes an active role in such areas as leasing, marketing, tenant relations, tenant retention, renovation, energy conservation and utility cost recovery, tenant improvements, capital improvements, maintenance, accounting and financial reporting. In addition, we handle all aspects of Asset Management on and for our properties (and for our clients) and negotiate and close all financing (short- and long-term) on our projects.
